Change management and successful diversification

The global market leader for photo booths (vendor and in-house) is facing the challenges of a market that is changing due to digitalization.

The global management has decided on fundamental changes regarding the diversification of the business and the requirements for the organization. Consciously, the changes were to be implemented by an external manager.

A French interim provider entrusted Sven Martens with the implementation of the task.

For the employees of a photo company that has a very long history in this market, it was initially incomprehensible why they wanted to enter completely new business areas and not rely on the market of the last 50 years and adapt it digitally.

A core part of the task was the cultural value change of the company. To underpin this, a completely new company location was sought and moved into.

The first successes in this new market were achieved very quickly. Later, an extremely positive annual result was achieved.

The service culture was established as a guideline for the entire organization (approx. 80 employees) and actions were geared towards strong interaction with customers and partners. The processes were designed digitally and sustainably.
