The electric motor:
The global market leader for pumps had taken over a drive manufacturer in Italy that produces motors with technically unique efficiencies, but was not yet distributed in Germany.
Martens & Kollegen were booked by a large technical engineering service provider as distribution experts. The aim was to set up an indirect sales structure within a very short space of time and enable market entry.
Sven Martens was commissioned as Regional Manager (ad interim) to help set up this structure.
After analyzing the market and defining the industry mix, a network of indirect sales agents was set up and a lead management system was established.
Projects with well-known industrial customers could thus be realized within a short period of time.
